Our Story
BridgeSTOR was founded in 2010 by storage industry veterans sharing a common vision - Create a solution that allows the Cloud to be used as primary storage. This vision was solidified after receiving a Request for Product (RFP) from one of the world’s largest Media & Entertainment organizations. The RFP called for a global namespace with global file locking, file versioning, intelligent caching and a laundry list of additional enterprise feature sets. The subsequent discussions sparked our imaginations and challenged us to rethink data access altogether.
