Coronado S3 Endpoint

Coronado S3 Endpoint has been designed for corporations to extend existing SAN or NAS storage into Cloud Storage.  The Coronado S3 Endpoint exports the S3 REST protocol while using local disk allowing Coronado Multi-Protocol Bridges or Coronado S3 Acceleration Servers to easily save file data over large distances.  Now Corporations or Service Providers may easily install Storage in remote data centers and make it available as Cloud Storage.  The Coronado S3 Endpoint is compatible with most S3 REST API's and an easy to use S3 REST API manual allows all web developers to create web based applications and save the data on any type of storage.

Coronado S3 Endpoint Features

The Coronado S3 Endpoint accepts HTML requests compatible with the Amazon S3 REST specification and converts the data back to files. In the Coronado environment a dual bucket approach is used where files are stored in one bucket and Coronado Metadata is stored in a second allowing users to easily recover files from existing cloud based tools

The Coronado S3 Endpoint has been built using Centos 7 and may use any storage compatible with Linux. This allows local disk, LUNS from SAN architectures or NFS/SMB mount points to be used as disk storage. The Coronado S3 Endpoint converts REST requests to files and writes it's data to the mounted storage allowing existing storage to be used as Cloud Storage.

Coronado S3 Endpoint is delivered as an OVF or VHD virtual appliance compatible with VMware, Hyper-V, Virtual Box or Linux KVM. Versions of the software are also available for hardware environments that may require larger capacities or higher throughput requirements
